Hear It From Me

Every December I pray about what the next year holds. I ask the Lord to give me a word or phrase or something to focus on for the next year. In 2018 I was praying over the next year's theme and the Lord led me to James 1:22 "But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves." I had recently finished the School of Kingdom Ministry through my church and felt that I just had to do more for the Kingdom with what I had learned. I knew that this verse was my answer. 

I decided to pray for one stranger every day and keep a journal about my experience. On day one I was terrified to pray for the first person. I think I probably just said the shortest most shallow prayer I could think of because I was so nervous. But as time went on I realized that I was learning and growing with experience. I began sharing my journal entries on this blog because I thought others could learn from my mistakes and maybe grow their own faith to pray for strangers of their own. THANKS FOR READING!!
