Today while shopping at Kroger I met a woman name Sandra with two boys. She is a school teacher and asked me to pray over the state testing coming up as well as pray over who two boys. We all held hands in the soft drink aisle and prayed for everything that she is walking through as a teacher, as a mother, and as a daughter of God.
I know I've said it before but, I. LOVE. TEACHERS. They're my favorite. Even when they aren't my favorite people, having the capacity to love on kids all day every single day is powerful. I do not carry that gift and I have mad crazy respect for anyone who does. Sandra asking a complete stranger to pray for her school kids is a perfect example of how they're just constantly thinking of someone else's children. Such a heart. I love it.
I asked God to bless her sons and to help raise them up to be mighty warriors who change the world and set the standard for other men around them to follow. I asked God to stand against the Enemy that wants to come after them and steal their life. I asked for Sandra to have God's heart and his words for her sons as they grow and the patience and endurance to raise them to stand for others.
Those sweet boys stood and prayed with a complete stranger the whole time. So so powerful.
