September 2 - Tameika

Tameika was the cashier at the drug store today. I was almost out the door and I felt the Holy Spirit say "what about her?" So I turned around. She agreed to let me pray for her and when I asked for something specific she said she'd rather not say. She had something that she needed prayer for but she didn't trust a stranger with it.

So I prayed over her household and specifically asked Got to stir up the Holy Spirit in her home. As I was holding her hand I realized she had an engagement ring on so I prayed for her relationship asking that God would fill them both with the kindness that leads to repentance and to make them quick to forgive.

As soon as I finished she asked me how I knew that she needed prayer for her household. Of course, I didn't. I just prayed for what was weighing on my heart as I looked at her. I had a few more minutes to talk to her about how God sees her and knows her every step and doesn't for a minute forget about her struggles.
