April 23 - Wanda

Day One Hundred & Thirteen.

Wanda and I met today while I was buying a gallon of frozen caramel truffle therapy at my favorite grocery store, and yours, Kroger. When I asked if I could pray she immediately sighed heavily and said "thank you." She asked for prayer over her job and as soon as she told me about her occupation, I knew. She works for the Department of Human Services. Enough said.

So we prayed for her job, for a raise, and a promotion. I asked God to bless every family that she comes in contact with and to heal her heart from the cases where she can't help. I spoke over her hands as she reaches out to families in need and her words as she speaks over their lives each day. I asked for endurance to continue doing what God has set before her.

When we finished praying she said "Wow. I really needed that today. I think I'm actually done here." and then she just left. I guess she got what she came for. :-)
