April 24 - Kendall, Carrie, Cindy

Day One Hundred & Fourteen.

Today at a check out counter I asked the three people waiting to help people if any of them would be willing to let me pray. Kendall jumped right up and said he "never turns down a chance to have someone pray for him." He would like to do something with his life and he just isn't sure which direction to go. He wants God to show him what to do with his life. So we talked for a minute about how God does have such big wonderful plans for him and then we prayed for clarity and for a mentor to come into his life and show him how to get to the place he wants to go.

After Kendall and I prayed, Carrie was another person behind the counter and she asked if I could pray for her. She has teenage children and they've recently lost two family members so everyone is going through grief on top of all of the teenage angst. So we prayed for God to draw near to the brokenhearted and honest emotions that would lead to healing and forgiveness.

Later in the day I ran into a woman that I know who had recently read that I was praying for hurt shoulders. Cindy asked me to pray for her shoulder and I did. She doesn't really feel a lot of pain until the evenings so she promised to text me later and tell me how it was feeling. I heard from her around 5:30 tonight and she was feeling great. So I'm praying for complete and total healing of her shoulder in Jesus name!

I've just been overwhelmed by the Father's love for his kids today. It's been such a blessing to be there when someone is ready to receive what He has for them. Whether it's healing or comforting, or just direction, He is just so faithful to show up and bring answers. Jesus is so real y'all and He is honestly just waiting for you to ask for what you need.
