Day Ninety-four.
I ran into Marcus at WalMart today and asked him if I could pray. He laughingly agreed and I could tell he wasn't taking me seriously. I asked if he had any pain or sickness in his body and he didn't. So, he asked me to pray for blessings over his life. It was so weird because he said it like:
So I asked if I could put a hand on his shoulder and immediately felt the Holy Spirit show up. I prayed for his finances, his health, and for favor over his job. Guess What! When I was done he said "Wow! This has got me feeling GOOD!" I told him, "That feeling is the Holy Spirit and it's God's way of sharing how much he loves you." He kind of shut me down after that. When we parted I told him I would check back with him and see how he's doing financially so when God makes his paychecks bigger we can talk about what He wants to do with the rest of Marcus's life.
