DAY ONE HUNDRED!!!!!

Wow. One hundred days of praying for strangers. One. Hundred. Days. I can honestly say that this journey has completely changed my life. I take absolutely zero credit for the positive impact it has had on me. The Lord knew exactly what He was doing when He asked me to do this. It has taken the focus off of myself and the troubles of my own life and forced me to reach out and bring love or healing to someone that I normally wouldn't even see. Seriously, I don't even pick my head up and look at the people around me most days. Much less, talk to them about the hard stuff they're walking through or offer encouragement. Y'all are probably better people than me. I'm not friendly on accident, I gotta work at it.

Today I prayed for Sherika. She was at the gas station with me, pumping gas. When I walked out of the store after paying, she was walking in and she smiled and said "hello." When she came out I peeked around the gas pump and asked her if I could pray. She was happy to say yes and she asked for prayer over her family, job, and health. I asked for specifics but she didn't want to go into detail. She just said "Nothing specific, just everything that's going on right now."

I felt the Lord leading me to pray for protection. I asked specifically for God to protect her from the fiery darts of the enemy and broke any assignment he had on her life or her family in Jesus name. I could tell she felt lighter after praying. We talked for a minute or so more and I encouraged her that God had her back and delighted in her. Anyway, it was a really positive encounter.
