August 7 - Pam

Day Two Hundred & Eighteen.

Today as soon as I asked to pray for Pam she became emotional. She was diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday. It's a very small spot and they don't think they'll have a problem removing it. She expects to recover quickly and have no further problems. She really seemed so confident and full of faith but she wanted the prayers anyway. We talked about how God can heal her and that's what I wanted to pray for. She agreed.

I invited the Holy Spirit to bring healing in her body. I spoke against the spirit of cancer and against the enemy's plan to harm her. I thanked God for using what Satan meant for evil and turning it to make her stronger and build her faith. I asked him to pour out favor and blessings in this season where the world expects her to crumble so that she could rise above her circumstances and bring others to know Him more.

She cried a little, I cried a little. We had a bit of a moment.
