February 6 - Sonia

Day thirty-seven.

Sonia was the person who checked me out when I got my oil changed today. I asked if I could pray and she got really quiet and told me about her daughter, Jennifer. She is a slave to her addictions and has lost her children. Sonia is now caring for Jennifer's two children.

It was such a sweet time of prayer. It's so crazy when I think about how I first started and was just praying the shortest things I could think of because I was nervous and awkward. Sonia and I just really took our time seeking the Father's heart, speaking against the Enemy, asking for strength and patience, praying for Jennifer's freedom. It was just so powerful.

Y'all, Jesus is really teaching me how to pray for his kids. It's just blooming into such a life changing journey for me. I'm so grateful.
