January 11 - Melinda

Day eleven.

I ran into Melinda today in the meat section at Kroger. When I asked if I could pray she immediately agreed. She has a surgery coming up and felt worried that there would be complications.

While praying, I felt the Lord move me to tell her that He would draw close to her and guard her like a Father guards his daughter. She said "I recently lost my father. That is exactly what I needed to hear." We talked a moment longer about how God gave me the right words because He cares for her so deeply.

As I walked away, she thanked me & I thanked God for loving his kids so much.
