January 24 - Kim

Day twenty-four.

On my way to pray for someone today I was listening to the song Fullness by Elevation Worship. It's so powerful and just what I needed before bringing the Kingdom to CVS.

I went in to get a new phone charger and the Lord told me that I should pray for whoever was standing in line. Sure enough, when I walked in there were two people standing in line. So, I just chose the person at the back of the line and asked her if I could pray.

Her name was Kim and she asked me to pray for her grandfather who is sick and dying. As soon as I put my hand on her shoulder to pray I could feel the Lord showing me how much she loved her friends. So I prayed for that first and then moved on to healing her grandfather. I prayed for the Holy Spirit to fill his body and for all pain and sickness to leave in Jesus name.

Lesson Learned: I think maybe it would be a good idea to get people talking a little more about what they need prayer for. Maybe asking more about her grandfather would give me more insight on how to pray.
