Day twenty-eight.

Fun fact, I am a PTSO President at one of the schools where my children attend. I love it. It's my favorite thing to support teachers and administrators while they nurture my children.

Tonight I went to dinner with a bunch of PTSO moms and while we were talking I told them about my goal to pray for one stranger every day. One of the moms that I hadn't ever met piped up and said "Well, I'm technically a stranger so you can pray for me today!"

Once dinner wrapped up I asked her what she needed prayer for and she asked me to pray for her in general and over her marriage. I told y'all my own marriage woes a few weeks ago. Life is ROUGH right now. So, every time I pray for someone's marriage I think "You heard me right Jesus?? You heard me pray for someone else's marriage and now you can bless mine... shaken down, pressed together, and running over in my lap.... pleaseandthankyou."

I put my hand on Danielle's shoulder and we prayed together in a busy restaurant. I love this so much. I love building a relationship with someone where there was nothing before. I love how God tells me that I'm not alone in my own marriage struggles by sending me other women who are walking a similar path. I mean, I don't know all of Danielle's details but, I know what it's like to need prayer for your marriage. I get that. Solidarity sister.
