Andrea is an employee at a local shop near my house. She was stocking shelves when I asked if I could pray for her. She was pretty young and she said that she doesn't ever think about things that she would like God to help her with. She actually said it has "never crossed her mind." So that was super sad. I mentioned that God thinks about her every day and would love to hear from her about something that is weighing heavily on her mind.
After thinking for a while about what we could pray about she mentioned that she is trying to decide which college to attend. She has several options to choose from and she doesn't know what is best for her. I was able to talk about destiny and about how God already has a wonderful plan for her that will lead her into a life better than she could ever imagine for herself.
She seemed a little uncomfortable until we actually prayed. Once I started praying she began to relax a little. I of course asked for guidance and for God to shut the doors of those schools where she should not go. After I prayed she said "wow. Thank you." and she took a deep breath. She said "That really feels good. Thank you." We talked a little more about God having a plan for her but other customers needed help so, I promised to continue praying for her and left.
