Today when I approached Darlene in the produce section and asked if I could pray she stopped me and said "Do you believe in the real God? Who are you praying to?" haha!! That's the first time someone has asked me that. But, honestly it's not the first time someone has thought it. I can tell sometimes that people are unsure what kind of prayer I'm going to come up with before they agree to let me pray. It's a fair question. But, I hate that she has to ask. Oh if only Christians were known for their desire to seek the Father's heart for people.
Darlene has Fibro Myalgia and several other health issues that she wouldn't get into. They keep her from leaving the house and she asked if I could pray for all of that. We held hands near the bananas and I prayed for healing as well as against the enemy and his efforts to keep her secluded. I asked if she was in pain at that moment and she said she was experiencing a really good day which is why she was able to get out and go grocery shopping. So no pain at the moment but I challenged to her to continue to pray against her pain for the rest of the week and see if it made a difference. I invited her to church with me, which I usually don't do. So hopefully she will come.
