July 22 - Alesha

Day Two Hundred & Two.

I've actually met Alesha twice but I'm counting her as a stranger anyway. She mentioned that her sister died two days before we met the first time and she was really struggling with the grief. We prayed over her broken heart and asked the Holy Spirit to fill up her home with his compassion and healing presence. We prayed for her sister's family and for her own husband and children to help each other through such a terrible time.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4
