On the way into the store tonight I saw several men walking alone. I tend to stay away from praying for men unless I feel directly led but, they were just everywhere. I thought for sure I'd have to pray for one. But, on my way out of the store I got in line behind Layla who agreed to let me pray for her. She didn't have anything specific that she needed prayer for but she told me that she was a believer and would take prayer over everything that she's dealing with in life. I prayed for her and when I finished, the cashier asked if I would pray for her too!
Her name was Keisha and she needed prayer because she is in a bad relationship and she isn't able to get out. I tried to dig a little deeper but she wouldn't give any more information. So, I prayed for her and for the ability to get out of this relationship. We talked a minute about soul ties and about how the Holy Spirit gives authority to break those that are unhealthy.
I actually got up the guts to ask if she had invited Christ to live in her, but she already had. Either way, I was proud of myself for trying to take it there when I had the opportunity instead of shying away like I usually do.
