June 1 - Alice

Day One Hundred & Fifty Two.

I met Alice in my usual spot, the frozen section at Kroger. She was leaving as I was arriving and when I asked her to pray she said "Oh! God must have sent you because I have breast cancer and I'm having surgery on it tomorrow morning."

We prayed for complete healing first. Then, for the doctors and staff that would be in the room during her surgery. We prayed for her future and that this would not be something that would hold her back but rather a slingshot that would thrust her forward into the plans that God has already made for her.
