June 12 - Julie

Day One Hundred & Sixty Three.

Today I met a woman named Julie who is pregnant with her first baby. She is only 5 months along and feeling all of the things that first time moms feel when they're expecting their first child. Excitement, fear, worry, joy... all of it.

We prayed for her to have a healthy pregnancy, over the legacy that she is bringing into the world, over her ability to lean on Christ as a mother and to raise a new generation of warriors for the Kingdom of God. I asked God to protect her from the advance of the enemy while she is in this delicate condition and to give her the fierceness she'll need as a mother who fights for the life of her child when it comes to dealing with anything that Satan tries to defeat her.

She was just so full of delight, y'all. Her smile was such a telling answer to how she felt loved and adored by her heavenly Father. Just lovely.
