June 16 - Alexis

Day One Hundred & Sixty Seven.

Alexis asked me to pray over her marriage. I asked if there was something specific going on and she said they've just been married for a year and they're having trouble communicating. I shared a little about my own marriage struggles and instead of one stranger praying for another, we were able to pray together. Two wives lifting up their husbands to the only One who could help us understand them.

We asked God to call up these two men into the destiny that he has already written for them. To bless them in their struggle to deal with everything that has happened before us and the courage to address everything else head on. Sometimes, I find that thanking God for everything that He created my husband to be ends up getting me out of my head and looking toward the future. I blessed Alexis's heart as a loving wife and asked God to give her the strength to forgive her husband, no matter what happens.
