June 20 - Donna

Day One Hundred & Seventy One.

I will be traveling and camping for the next few days so I will try to post regularly but I may have to apologize later. If nothing else, I will definitely find a stranger every day. Today I prayed WITH Donna. Her nephew is in the ICU with an unexplained disease that doctors have been unable to identify. They believe he may have fallen ill from a tick that he found two days ago. It isn't Lyme disease but and as of this afternoon they were still looking.

We prayed and asked for a miraculous healing and for the doctors to be able to find the problem quickly and solve it. I spoke against the sickness itself and asked the Holy Spirit to stand in his hospital room and inspire every medical professional that walked in.

After we prayed she was so grateful. She kept telling me how much it meant to her that I stopped to pray. We talked about where we go to church and about my journey to pray for one stranger each day as well as what God has been teaching me about prayer.
