June 5 - Meagan

Day One Hundred & Fifty Six.

Today I prayed for Meagan at the bank who has been having trouble sleeping. Interesting fact: I have recently been able to stop taking sleeping pills at night. Recently as in, like 15 days ago. Even more interesting is that I just prayed for a woman at church who has been having trouble sleeping and she is also sleeping better now. I've heard a lot of people say that when God gives you victory over something you then have more authority to give it to others.

I shared all of this with Meagan before we prayed and then asked God to give her the rest that he promises for her in Matthew 11. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
