March 24 - Jim

Day Eighty-four.

I met Jim in the ice-cream aisle at the grocery store. I have a true love for salted caramel over vanilla. mmmmm!!!

Before going into the store, I felt the Lord ask me to wait until the last person was left on the aisle and then, ask them to pray. Jim was there buying ice cream for his wife who just had heart surgery on Friday. After everyone else left us, I told him about my goal to pray for one stranger every day and he agreed to let me pray with him.

I put my hand on his shoulder and prayed for Jim's wife. For his ability to care for her, for complete healing, and for all symptoms and signs of her heart troubles to leave in Jesus name.

When we finished, he thanked me for being so bold!! :-D lol I guess he didn't hear my knees knocking.
