March 25 - Courtney

Day Eighty-five.

I saw Courtney on my way into the store and she smiled at me. She had a baby girl on her hip and she was walking quickly past the grocery carts so I knew, like me, she was on a mission for one item. I got what I needed and headed to the register. She was in front of me in line and the man checking out was taking a long time, so I asked if I could pray for her.

She was buying formula and told me that she needed prayer to take care of her kids. She has two children, one fifteen month old (on her hip) and one three month old (at home). WOW!! I also had two babies close together so I had a lot of understanding for her circumstances. No matter how good you have it, two back to back babies will turn your life upside down, trust me.

We prayed in the line at the register for God to raise up her children to be mighty warriors who declare His name to the nations. I asked for strength and patience as well as healing for her body after two back to back pregnancies. I asked God to bless her finances and to be a provider for her and for every generation that follows her.
