March 31 (again) - Terri

Day Ninety-one.

After a very powerful weekend listening to testimonies from Brian Blount and Putty Puttman I have decided that one stranger each day is going to have to be my minimum. God has called me to this but there are just so many more people that cross my path on some days and "I've already prayed for someone" is not a good excuse not to extend grace and healing to the people that I meet.

So, Terri was the Wendy's drive through cashier and I asked if she had any pain in her body that I could pray for. I told her that I believed if she let me pray for her that Jesus would heal her. She shared that she had pain in her legs and agreed to let me pray. When I finished praying I asked if she felt any different and she said she didn't.

Mistakes I made: I should have asked her more about the pain before I prayed by asking her how bad it was on a scale of 1-10. I should have prayed a second time after she told me that she didn't feel a difference in her pain.

So I'm going to do those things next time. I am such a huge coward, y'all. Seriously. I thanked her for letting me pray and told her that I would continue to pray after I left. She said she believed that Jesus would heal her because of my prayer but... she didn't feel the healing right then. I'll try again though, I'm not going to stop.
