March 9 - Kim & Demarius

Day sixty-eight.

Today at Target I asked the cashier (Kim) if I could pray for her. She was hesitant at first but when I asked what she needed prayer for she said she'd love for me to pray over her job and finances. We held hands over the grocery belt and I prayed for her.

While I was praying, another person walked up behind her. When we finished, Demarius was standing there. He asked if I could pray for him too. He is headed to college and wanted me to pray over that. I happily agreed and Kim joined us as we prayed for the start of his journey.

When I was finished praying I asked if they believed that God cared for the small things in their life. Demarius immediately said yes but Kim was hesitant. I told her that I believed that He sent me directly to her on purpose and cares about her finances and her future. I asked if she had any pain in her body and she did not. But I prayed again for God to draw near to her heart tonight so that she would become aware of his presence around her and realize how much he treasures her.
