May 2 - Jennifer

Day One Hundred & Twenty Two.

I've been praying for today's stranger all day. The Lord kept reminding me that I had dinner plans tonight. So, after eating dinner with some friends, I found our waitress helping someone with an order at another table. When she was finished I asked if I could pray for her and what she needed prayer for. She couldn't think of anything until I gave her a few prompts. "Health? Pain in your body? Heartbreak?" and she said "I'd really love it if you could pray over my finances." Girl. Same.

So we stepped to the side of the restaurant and prayed for financial favor. I reminded her that God owns everything, the bible says he owns the every beast in the forest and the cattle on a thousand hills. So he already has everything she needs to meet her needs. I prayed for more tips, higher paychecks, lower bills, and the ability to see that every financial blessing comes from Him. When we finished praying we talked about how she would see God blessing her and when He did she'd know it was because He loves her so deeply and He just wants to talk to his favorite girl.

So, continue praying that Jennifer is blessed by God today and she takes that as a cue to go to him with her heart.
