May 30 - Judy

Day One Hundred & Fifty.

I met Judy in the line for a cashier today and she was with her husband. I asked if I could pray for one or both of them and Judy volunteered. She said she's been having some health problems but wouldn't go into detail when I asked. She was clearly having trouble speaking and I asked if she was having trouble breathing. She nodded her head but, she really wasn't going to keep talking about it.

I always ask if I can put my hand on someone's shoulder or hold their hand while I"m praying but today I asked if I could touch Judy's back. I prayed for her lungs and asked the Holy Spirit to do a miraculous healing. When I finished praying her voice sounded completely different. I asked if she noticed a difference in her breathing and she said she didn't but that she could tell the difference in her voice. Her husband noticed the difference too.

We talked a little about how God loves her so much and he wants to heal her body and give her lungs back to her. I asked if I could pray again but she didn't want me to. We had moved further up in the line by that point so she was getting ready to check out. But, overall it was a pretty great encounter.
