May 4 - Cannot remember his name.

Day One Hundred & Twenty Four.

My gas station cashier had a super weird name. He told me his name when I asked to pray and then he said "but if you can't say that, you can just call me Marcus" (which literally sounded nothing like the first name he told me). But I believe that names are significant. I asked a little about what his first name meant and he didn't know. He asked for prayer over "everything" and when I dug a little deeper I found out that this job was his second job and he also worked as a mechanic. When I looked closer I noticed he was wearing dirty coveralls, probably from his other job.

We held hands over the counter and prayed over everything. Finances, Health, strength, endurance, patience, love life... everything. While I was praying, God spoke to my heart about him and called him "mighty." So after we finished praying I told him that. He looked at me funny as if I were making fun of him. I assured him I was serious and tried to reinforce with him what I had heard. That he was a mighty man and that God sees him and is so proud of him.

On my way out the door he told the other cashier. "I really feel so good now!"
